Overview

We are looking for a passionate and organised Operational Trainer to support our production teams in delivering high-quality, consistent performance across our factory operations. You\\\’ll play a key role in onboarding new starters, delivering capability training, maintaining training records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct capability assessments and confirm competency of production colleagues.
  • Deliver hands-on training and support for colleagues needing additional development.
  • Collaborate with Area Managers, ASLs, and Team Leaders to identify training needs.
  • Maintain and update skills matrices and training records to audit-ready standards.
  • Support the creation and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Deliver refresher training and ensure compliance with operational standards.
  • Contribute to new process introductions, trials, and improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and adapt programs based on feedback.

Qualifications

  • Experience in training, coaching, or buddying within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Knowledge of production processes and a passion for driving quality.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • A \\\’Train the Trainer\\\’ and/or Assessor qualification (or willingness to work toward).
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
