The Role
The National Account Manager is responsible for managing, building relationships, and developing the commercial partnership between IPN and nominated customer(s). The role focuses on delivering profitable growth and enhancing brand equity. This is a permanent position within our growing business. The base location can be either Thirsk, North Yorkshire, or Northampton (Crick) offices, with travel expected.
Key Responsibilities of the National Account Manager
- Create and implement key account strategies to grow annual revenue and profitability, aligning with IPN and customer expectations.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the channel, facilitating Joint Business Plans in line with customer requirements.
- Coordinate customer interactions with internal functions such as Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure a consistent business approach.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial teams to develop and launch new or refreshed product ranges.
- Challenge existing business practices to drive internal and customer relationship improvements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Broad knowledge of the FMCG trade with previous account management experience.
- Tenacity in relationship building.
- Operational understanding of FMCG and cross-functional experience.
- Strong business and commercial acumen.
- Degree qualification (desirable).

- Salary: Competitive

- Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday
