We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join our manufacturing site in Crick, Northamptonshire. This is a permanent position working specifically on nights shift (22:00 - 06:00).
On Offer:
- Night shift - 22:00 to 06:00
- 40 hours per week
- £14.50 per hour plus £1.99 shift allowance
Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver:
- Supply the production departments with raw and packaging materials to maintain a continuous production programme.
- Locate all finished goods from production areas into the warehouse for storage until dispatch.
- Unload incoming vehicles and rack away materials following acceptance and GRN generation.
- Pick and assemble loads ready for dispatch; load outgoing vehicles with finished goods as detailed on the dispatch paperwork.
- Work in a safe manner at all times, ensuring the safety of myself and colleagues.
- Follow health and safety policies and procedures and raise any concerns through the appropriate channels.
- Ensure FLT fleet is fit for purpose through completing starter documentation and reporting damage to FLTs and plant by following the appropriate procedure.
- Undertake training and assist with the training of other colleagues when required; act as a buddy for new colleagues and provide guidance where necessary.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role within manufacturing.
- FLT / Counterbalance or reach truck experience is essential (must be able to provide certificate or licence).
- Good standard of education; demonstrates good literacy and numerical skills, able to understand, communicate and report clearly in English.
