The Role
To work across the full development stack to build highly scalable distributed software solutions integrating with existing core systems that enable a positive user experience and measurable business growth whilst providing advice and recommendations for future proofing the business.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment for web, cloud and standalone solutions, PC and mobile based Solutions created in line with Project plans and desired functionality.
- Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimised for speed and scalability whilst developing reliable solutions, new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements engaging with end users and departmental heads.
- Design is documented to the desired standard.
- Compliance with industry standard.
- Regular discussions with improvement proposals.
- Full involvement in project discussions and project compliance.
- Evaluating and implementing new technologies that improve the end user experience, scalability and support the organisation’s business goals.
- Learn new technologies.
- Assess developed system performance and recommend improvements.

- Assess developed system security protocols and recommend improvements.
- Pass industry standard penetration tests and vulnerabilities.
- Engage with software vendors and departmental heads to create reliable APIs to ensure seamless connection of systems.

Knowledge, Skills And Experience
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
- Experience developing desktop and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with common stacks.
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery).
- Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js).
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Organizational skills.

- Salary: Competitive 10% annual company bonus scheme.
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday.
