We’re now looking for an Account Executive to join our dynamic Commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced FMCG environment, supporting the growth of our pet food brands across major UK retail channels.

This role can be based out of Thirsk, North Yorkshire or Crick, Northampton offices. This is a hybrid role with expectation of 3 days a week in the office.
The Role
As an Account Executive, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of commercial plans across a portfolio of national retail accounts. Working closely with a National Account Manager, you’ll help manage day-to-day customer relationships, coordinate promotional plans, and ensure flawless execution of account strategies. You’ll work cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance teams to deliver results that drive both category growth and brand performance.
Responsibilities Of The Account Executive
- Support the development and execution of Joint Business Plans with key retail partners
- Manage promotional plans, track performance and identify growth opportunities
- Monitor sales, stock and forecast data to help shape commercial decisions
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met on time and in full
- Prepare reports, presentations and insights to support customer meetings
- Maintain a close eye on competitor activity and market trends
- Build strong relationships internally and externally, becoming a trusted point of contact for your accounts
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Of The Account Executive
- Experience in an FMCG or retail account support role
- Strong numerical and analytical skills – comfortable working with sales and forecast data
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive in your approach
- Confident using Excel, PowerPoint and CRM systems
- Commercial mindset with a passion for working in a fast-paced, brand-led environment
- A team player who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in
The Offer

- Salary: Competitive
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday (Hybrid working)
- Pension: Employee contributions 3% / Employer contribution 8%
