The Role
We are looking for a passionate Senior Membership Recruiter to join our team. Your main responsibility will be to increase Forestry England’s financial resources by recruiting new members. As a Senior Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in managing the onsite membership program, ensuring smooth operations, and inspiring visitors to become members of Forestry England. This is a contract role with Forestry England.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspire visitors to become Forestry England members (local or national membership).
- Build strong working relationships with onsite staff, understanding the forest’s features and Forestry England’s programs.
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the membership program, including placement strategy and coordinating with site staff.
- Set up and dismantle the gazebo daily.
- Confidently approach and engage visitors, initiating conversations and building rapport.
- Clearly present information about membership benefits.
- Use digital devices to complete membership applications and assist other recruiters.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring visitors feel valued and connected to Forestry England.
- Represent Forestry England’s core values to every visitor.
- Focus on personal development and improving engagement techniques.
- Support the training of fellow team members as needed.
