We are seeking a Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. Inspired Learning Group is a growing group of independent senior schools, preparatory schools and nurseries in the UK. A pivotal member of the Marketing Department and reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Manager is responsible for driving and executing lead generation strategies to support student recruitment across all ILG Through Schools. This role will lead on key marketing initiatives while also supporting wider departmental projects. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues, external agencies and our network of schools to deliver strong results.
They will be expected to demonstrate solid marketing experience, combining a strategic mindset with hands-on campaign management. This role will suit someone who is creative, detail-oriented and strategic, with a workload that varies from large-scale campaign management to the day-to-day delivery of marketing activity.
The Marketing Manager will be accountable for the daily performance of marketing campaigns, ensuring student acquisition activity is delivered effectively through strong project management, interpersonal skills, communication, administration, problem solving and process management.
The role will encompass:
- Management of the Marketing Campaign Calendar including major acquisition campaigns, partnerships, and tactical requirements as well as student retention campaigns.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the company to ensure online and offline marketing campaigns are delivered to a high standard, within budgets and to timescales.
- Manage and optimise the digital paid media channels (i.e. paid social media, PPC etc) to deliver acquisition sales targets with IOS Ignite.
- Compose email marketing campaigns for student retention and acquisition.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns with recommendations for optimisation.
- Collaborate with our agency (IOS Ignite), to continually improve our websites as the primary acquisition channel.
- Coordinate local marketing efforts and partnerships to drive brand presence in the community.
- Create promotional materials and signage to support sales and marketing initiatives.
- Work with our agencies to deliver best in class creative, ensuring consistency and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with our digital agency, to continually improve landing pages and website(s) as the primary acquisition channel.
- Manage communications with school teams, keeping them up to date, informed and engaged in the campaign development process.
- Daily management of invoicing and tracking of the marketing budget.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following skills/expertise:
- Strong experience working for B2C & Consumer brands, a background in education is not a pre-requisite.
- Experience working across multiple brands, or experience in agency would be advantageous.
- Ability to work across a number of fast-moving multi-channel campaigns.
- Experience of communicating results clearly to stakeholders up to CEO level.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise multiple campaigns and BAU work.
- Highly creative with strong attention to detail - a passion for creating a lasting impression with the customer.
This role will suit someone who is creative, detailed and strategic at the same time, your workload will vary between large scale campaign management through to day-to-day priorities of the campaign execution. The role will involve a blend of home working and working at our head office in Stanmore (Inspired Learning Group, Georgian House, Park Lane, Stanmore Middlesex HA7 3HD). Frequent travel to schools and nurseries will also be required.
