Head of Resourcing and Recruitment for Inspired Learning Group, 32 independent schools and nurseries. Inspired Learning Group (ILG) is seeking a Recruitment and Resourcing Partner to join our People Team at a critical point of organisational growth and transformation. ILG currently owns and operates 32 independent schools and nurseries across the UK, supporting around 2,000 colleagues. We are proud of the individuality of our schools and nurseries and work closely with them to provide safe, inspiring environments where staff and pupils can thrive.

The Role

The Recruitment and Resourcing Partner is responsible for all areas of attracting, recruiting, and retaining high-quality teaching and non-teaching staff across the schools and nurseries within ILG. Acting as a strategic partner, the postholder will work on end-to-end recruitment activity, develop talent pipelines, and promote the organisation as an employer of choice within the education sector. Reporting directly to the Head of Resourcing and Recruitment you will be responsible for the attraction and retention of employees to ILG. You will line manage members of the Recruitment team, ensuring consistent, high-quality, and compliant support. You will work closely with hiring managers developing trusted advisor status.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working within the internal resourcing function at ILG.
  • Accountable for the resourcing and development of a candidate pipeline for ILG schools.
  • Using various search techniques to source and maintain contact with candidates, including LinkedIn and Social Media Platforms.
  • Utilising technology to keep in contact with talent communities.
  • Assisting with the development of a workforce plan to ensure ILG have a pipeline of talent for our schools and nurseries.
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with our hiring managers, candidates and our external partners.
  • Working with local training providers to source staff.
  • Producing promotional material to attract staff to the ILG nurseries and schools.
  • Headhunting and sourcing early years and teaching professionals via a variety of job boards and platforms.
  • Assisting with the designing and implementing of recruitment strategies.

About You

  • You will be a highly experienced professional with a strong background in recruitment or talent acquisition, with experience of working in or leading teams.
  • Experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally within education or the public sector.
  • Strong understanding of safer recruitment and safeguarding requirements.
  • Experience managing multiple vacancies and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
