Are you passionate about working with young people, creating memorable experiences, and fostering a love for learning? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Group Leader to join the Inspired Learning Group and our team of staff providing group experiences for students across the ILG schools.

This role requires a proactive leader who is adaptable, culturally sensitive, and capable of managing group dynamics in diverse and often challenging settings. We are looking for someone who has strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep commitment to fostering an enriching and impactful experience for all participants.

The role will require working between our settings, so someone with a flexible approach and a dynamic drive would suit this role. There would also be some requirements to work evenings and weekends as the groups dictate.

The main responsibilities for this role will be but not limited to:

  • Leading and managing a group of pupils throughout daily activities, ensuring their safety, engagement, and enjoyment.
  • Planning, facilitating, and supervising immersive activities designed to enhance learning, teamwork, and creativity.
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive environment that encourages personal growth, social interaction, and cultural exchange.
  • Acting as a mentor and role model, helping pupils build confidence and develop new skills.
  • Collaborating with school and group staff to ensure smooth operations and a positive atmosphere.
  • Providing feedback and support to pupils and staff, addressing any concerns or challenges that arise.

This role would suit someone looking for a role in education possibly before training to teach. We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • Passion for working with children or teens in an outdoor or educational setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining composure and ensuring safety.

We would like to hear from you if you have experience in teaching, coaching, or camp leadership. Previous experience working in an immersion, language, or cultural camp would be looked upon favourably; however, it is not essential. We also welcome applications from recent graduates looking to gain experience in a school setting before training to teach.

As part of working at Inspired Learning Group you will benefit from:

  • Working in our friendly schools in fantastic UK locations.
  • Free lunch and refreshments during working hours.
  • Free parking on site.
  • Accommodation including bills if required.
  • Use of school facilities including gym.

If you feel you have the skills and attributes for this role, we welcome your application. For further information please do not hesitate to contact Tom Havard, Head of Recruitment and Resourcing on 07706323847 or tom@inspiredlearninggroup.co.uk.

A full job description is available on request. To apply please visit and complete our application form. We reserve the right to close this vacancy earlier than the date advertised. Interviews will take place on a rolling basis, as applications are received.
