Up to £80,000 pa depending on experience

Permanent, 40 hours per week. Inspired Learning Group is currently looking to appoint a Finance Controller to join their Finance team. With the head office based in Stanmore, ILG currently owns and operates 30 independent schools and nurseries in the UK. Inspired Learning Group is one of the United Kingdom’s largest groups of independent senior schools, preparatory schools and nurseries.

As our Finance Controller, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the company’s financial management, including corporate accounting, financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, and development of internal control policies and procedures.

We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, has excellent financial understanding and who is able to motivate and get the best out of a team. The ability to positively enhance the working environment is essential as you will be managing a team within the head office environment. Previous financial controller experience is essential as is managerial or team leader experience. Having worked in a school or educational environment is not essential; however, it would be looked upon favourably.
