Inspired Global Cuisine (IGC) are a frozen ready meal manufacturer based in Gorton, East Manchester. We are an ambitious company who have grown significantly over the last 2 years, now producing over 1 million meals a week and have plans to continue that growth. Role Details
- Salary: up to £47,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 2pm – 10pm during our afternoon shift
- Contract: Permanent
Role Description
- To be responsible for leading and managing the Production team to effectively achieve the planned volume whilst controlling labour and materials.
- To create a safe and great place of work adhering to Health and Safety (H&S), Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and Inspired Global Cuisine (IGC) procedures.
- To drive a continuous improvement culture by analysing the relevant data to identify areas for change, whilst acknowledging good work in the team.
- To be collaborative and operate cross functionally to ensure the site delivers and continually improves.
Skills & Experience
- Extensive management experience, ideally within a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong, confident and motivational leader.
- Quality and customer focused.
- Continuous improvement mindset able to plan, implement and manage change.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient IT skills.
- Autonomous and works from own initiative.
- Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures with strong technical knowledge.
- Strong numerical abilities to interpret and analyse data.
