Inspired Global Cuisine are a frozen ready meal manufacturer based in Gorton, East Manchester. We are an ambitious company who have grown significantly over the last 2 years, now producing over 1 million meals a week and have plans to continue to grow. This includes a re-location to a brand new 369 thousand square foot site in Chadderton, Oldham in early 2026 where we plan to double our volume over the next few years. About The Role
We are looking for a QA Technologist to join our Technical team who is detail-focused. You will be responsible for ensuring food safety, quality, legality and integrity throughout all site production, storage and packaging operations. This is a hands-on role and no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out scheduled GMP, hygiene, CCP and stock rotation audits across production, storage and packaging.
- Conduct environmental swabbing and validate food safety processes and product shelf life.
- Raise, investigate and close out non-conformance reports on 3i.
- Coach and mentor colleagues in food safety best practice on the shop floor.
- Inspect incoming raw materials against agreed specifications.
- Perform organoleptic (sensory) testing and manage supplier non-conformances.
- Support production lines with material-related issues.
- Calibrate key food safety equipment and organise taste panels.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Food Safety level 3 (Desirable).
- Food handling and manufacturing experience (Desirable).
- Experience within a similar quality assurance role (Desirable).
- Good organisational skills whilst demonstrating initiative.
- Detail-focused with a high level of accuracy.
- IT proficient – Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Analytical and methodical in solving problems.
