Role: Commercial Executive - Food Manufacturer
Salary: Competitive
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (usually 8am-4pm, some flexibility may be required)
Contract: Permanent
Inspired Global Cuisine (IGC) are a frozen ready meal manufacturer based in Gorton, East Manchester. We are an ambitious company who have grown significantly over the last 2 years, now producing over 1 million meals a week and have plans to continue to grow. This includes a re-location to a brand new 369 thousand square foot site in Chadderton, Oldham in early 2026 where we plan to double our volume over the next few years.

About the role:
The Commercial Executive will support the Commercial Account Manager in delivering the customer agenda. Responsibilities include:
- Take ownership of the internal sales reporting, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Support on internal forecasting; aligning commercial plans with supply chain and NPD.
- Manage any preexisting commercial agreements/invoices. Be responsible for raising invoices and tracking against agreed targets.
- Support the NPD team by generating New Line Forms, aligning forecasts for new products and managing raw material risk.
- Support administration and information requirements during NPD process.
- Support the Account Manager & NPD team with presentations and meetings.
- Involved in day-to-day account management e.g. price queries, supply chain/availability issues & ad hoc enquiries.
- Attend various product meetings at Iceland HQ e.g. ‘Ice Checks’ and Attribute Panels.
- Support with presentations (creation and delivery) and data collation for New Business opportunities.
- Become the point of contact for admin requirements as we onboard new customers.
- Keep up to date on market trends such as emerging grocery brands or high street businesses.
Marketing, Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct market research using tools such as Vyper, compile and analyse data generated from instore and online visits.
- Be the key expert in Kantar data generating reports and presentations for internal and external usage.
- Stay updated on industry developments and macro customer changes.
Skills & Experience:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that can build co-operative relationships.
- Customer facing experience.
- Analytical mindset and excellent organisational skills.
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic and positive with a confident and professional undertaking.
- Proficient in presentation skills, Excel and the ability to adapt and learn internal systems.
- Creative mindset with innovative ways of working to support the promotion of the business, including social media.
Essential:
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
Desirable:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
