The predicted salary is between 26000 - 27000 £ per year.

Location: Manchester based covering the North of the UK, however flexibility will be required where necessary.

Hours: Full time – 40 hours per week (this could be over 4 days as and when required but we do require a level of flexibility)

There will also be occasions where an overnight stay may also be required, which will be paid for by the company.

Salary: Starting at £26,000 and increasing to £27,000 + £1,000 bonus upon successful completion of your probationary period.

Transport: This role comes with a Company vehicle, a fuel card, serviced and MOT included and can be used for personal use if required but subject to HMRC rules

Overtime: Paid at time and half.

We have a new full time / permanent opportunity within Inspired Gaming for an Installation Engineer. Inspired Gaming offers an expanding portfolio of content, technology, hardware and services for regulated gaming, betting, lottery, social and leisure operators across land-based and mobile channels around the world.

What you’ll do

This is a hands‑on role based out of Manchester, covering the North of the UK. The role involves the transportation and installation of our Gaming terminals to our licensed premises. Specific duties are listed below:

  • Adherence to stock accuracy and processes.
  • Report any equipment issues to the Team Leader.
  • To ensure any cash transfers are completed in accordance with Inspired policy and all cash is fully accounted for.
  • That any failed installs are reported and actioned as per the company process.
  • To liaise with site manager re demonstration of equipment (as required).
  • To leave equipment fully secure and to comply with Health and Safety requirements.
  • Complete a PDA sign off record for all jobs completed.
  • To ensure all machines and equipment is secured in vehicle during transit.
  • To ensure compliance of Inspired policy regarding vehicle care, maintenance and cleanliness.
  • To report all vehicle defects and service requirements to the Team Leader.
  • Comply at all times with the Health and Safety at Work Policy.
  • Ensure all company assets are safeguarded in accordance with company procedures.

Skills and Experience

  • There will be a requirement to drive a 3.5 tonne and / or a Tail Lift vehicle.
  • Significant manual handling activities will be required as well as use of our mechanical equipment.
  • May be required to load/unload 3rd party vehicles.

No two days are the same in this job! One day, you could be installing our flagship gaming terminals and the next, you’re troubleshooting networking issues found in a motorway services. You’ll enjoy the freedom of being on the road, as well as meeting customers at various venues – so the best of both worlds!

Experience is a bonus, however if you do not have experience, that’s not a problem. We’ll fully train and support you every step of the way through a detailed onboarding programme when you join.

The must haves

  • A full UK manual driving licence.
  • To live within a 60‑minute drive of the Manchester area.

Excellent organisation, communication, and process skills, along with being highly motivated are important attributes to this role. Also, the ability to work unsupervised and take initiative where required.

You will be expected to provide a high level of customer care and be able to achieve all key performance targets.
