The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
To support the control of the day-to-day operation of licensed Gaming Venues within the Quicksilver and Airport venues. To provide maintenance and repair to sited equipment, focusing on machine reliability, performance, and income. To take responsibility for training, guidance, and technical support for all employees at venue level.
Core responsibilities for management will include:
- Supporting all MSA venues as required, including leading and supporting collections when needed.
- Supporting the Area Manager, covering holidays and queries in their absence.
- Achieving budget targets and adhering to company operating standards.
- Meeting cost controls; minimizing and reporting exception levels (weekly) to Management.
- Building and maintaining excellent customer relations.
- Ensuring correct siting of equipment in conjunction with Senior Management to maximize income.
- Maximizing all other business opportunities within the Gaming Centre.
- Managing cash collections accurately in accordance with Company procedures.
- Monitoring and analyzing machine income levels and initiating appropriate actions.
- Observing legal aspects of the business relating to machine licensing and reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Resolving routine malfunctions where cause and correction are readily identified.
- Applying routine diagnostic procedures and reviewing equipment performance to meet company standards.
- Performing routine preventative maintenance, repair, and service on demand or to agreed schedules.
- Running routine diagnostics on printed circuit boards and identifying basic electronic components.
- Ensuring all servicing requirements are carried out efficiently and according to company instructions.
- Maintaining regular contact with the Area Manager on service-related issues.
- Reporting required parts or spares to the Area Manager before leaving the venue.
- Maintaining all tools supplied, which will be inspected regularly by the Area Manager.
- Completing all administration/documentation at the correct time and to the required standard.
- Reporting any damage caused to company property by customers or staff immediately.
- Assisting the Income Protection Department by providing information and reporting anomalies.
- Ensuring all areas under control are maintained in a clean and safe manner.
- Investigating exceptions and taking appropriate remedial action.
- Ensuring all Company assets are registered and monitored appropriately.
- Instructing Venue Staff on initial Floating/Dumping procedures for new equipment.
- Visiting each venue within the allocated service area according to the pre-determined rota/work schedule.
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
- Following escalation procedures to the relevant Area Manager as required.
- Efficiently prioritising workload and attending calls within pre-determined time limits.
- Maintaining adequate stock levels and requesting consumables as needed.
- Returning faulty advance replacement parts promptly with appropriate paperwork.
- Demonstrating the ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.
- Providing technical support to venue staff as required.
- Taking on any other responsibilities or tasks within the employee’s skills and abilities as instructed.
- Consistently identifying and clarifying the needs of the venue.
- Striving to meet or exceed standards of service and maintaining good employee relations.
SECURITY
- Assisting in security investigations as directed by senior management.
- Actioning security alerts as necessary.
- Minimising risk to yourself or cash equipment in your possession.
- Identifying yourself to venue staff using your Company identification card before commencing work.
- Maintaining utmost security regarding cash, tokens, machine keys, and other company property.
- Ensuring cash or keys are never left unattended or with unauthorised persons.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
- Adhering to all company health and safety practices and procedures.
- Taking appropriate action through the company health and safety representative for any issues arising.
- Reporting potential hazards to the Area Manager.
- Ensuring all work conforms to current Health and Safety legislation.
COMMUNICATION
- Attending meetings as required.
- Participating in periodic business review meetings (1:1) with the Area Manager.
- Promoting the company positively with internal and external personnel.
HUMAN RESOURCES
- Maintaining personal conduct that reflects favourably on the company and ensuring a presentable appearance.
- Establishing a good working environment to obtain maximum commitment from staff.
- Helping identify and meet job-related training needs with the Area Manager.
- Working efficiently and effectively with peers and team members.
- Maintaining any company vehicle entrusted to you in a clean and tidy manner.
- Completing vehicle maintenance records and daily mileage sheets.
