This role is ideally suited to a career minded, ambitious individual who is looking for that unique opportunity to prove what they can do and then be rewarded for it. We are looking for a Water Consultant to join our successful Water Department team. This is a home-based role with UK wide travel required.
Role and Responsibilities:
- The primary objectives of the role are to identify opportunities for client savings and refunds from supplier charging errors and/or water wastage at client sites. This is achieved through desktop analysis of water charges and consumption and on-site surveys of client sites to validate and confirm claims.
- Data analysis and evaluation of supplier invoices for water, wastewater, surface water and highway drainage, trade effluent, abstraction licenses and environment agency discharge permits, to identify where commercially viable savings on charges or consumption are possible.
- Conducting onsite surveys of any client sites identified where possible savings or refunds may be available.
- Reporting of findings both internally and to clients.
- Providing technical assistance and support to the wider business on water and related subjects.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Excellent data analysis
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office, specifically Word and Excel
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills regarding information gathering and delivery – both verbal and written
- In depth knowledge of UK commercial water/waste-water tariffs
- Wide knowledge of water usage within industrial processes/how water is used on different sites
