ROLE SUMMARY:

Inspired Education invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced Class Teachers to join our London Prep and Pre-Prep Schools, including Wetherby Prep, Fulham School, Pembridge Hall, Wetherby Notting Hill, Wetherby Kensington, Chepstow House, Ivy House, and St Anthony’s. Class Teachers are responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, monitoring and assessing student progress, maintaining strong partnerships with parents, and contributing to a collaborative early years team. Teachers will also play an active role in shaping a vibrant school community through participation in events, celebrations, trips, and extracurricular activities that enrich the student experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, prepare and implement the agreed school curriculum to cater for the needs of all children within the assigned class and any other class taught.
  • Provide well planned, engaging learning experiences and support for all learners and to deliver a diverse, relevant and differentiated (where appropriate) curriculum for all children in the class.
  • Observe and evaluate the progress of each child.
  • Provide a warm, friendly and supportive atmosphere that is conducive to the social and emotional needs of the children within the class.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with school policies at all times and to encourage positive practice in relation to general behaviour.
  • Create an engaging, stimulating and relevant learning environment through displays and classroom organisation.
  • Maintain cordial and informative relationships with parents.
  • Work as part of a team with the teachers and assistants within the assigned year group and the rest of the school staff.
