ROLE SUMMARY:

Inspired Online Schools requires an IT Support Technician based in the UK to expand the IT department in a broad and varied position. You will be joining an expanding team who have a hands-on approach. Primarily you will be supporting 500+ remote employees and 8,000+ students while also being involved in a variety of other IT-related tasks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To work in a remote environment and provide formal support from 15:00 – 23:00 UK business hours
- Ability to log, prioritise and resolve user requests utilising time management skills to prioritise the workload effectively
- Support 500+ employees and 8,000+ students remotely
- Support a variety of software packages such as Microsoft 365 and Adobe Connect
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 including the ability to troubleshoot
- Escalate and liaise support queries with internal Inspired IT or with external third-party companies
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Previous experience providing IT support (essential)
- Windows 10 / 11
- Microsoft Office 365
- Able to troubleshoot and resolve problems methodically and logically
- Good administration/clerical skills for updating records
- Empathise with user frustrations; capable of dealing with people in a calm, effective manner
- Able to anticipate and understand customer expectations and ensure customer requirements are met and expectations appropriately managed
- Able to contribute effectively towards the objectives of a team, and can share knowledge, ideas and information
- Possible requirement to work alternative hours
