ROLE SUMMARY: We are seeking an Experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure infrastructure using Azure Cloud services. You will play a key role in automating deployment pipelines, managing Kubernetes clusters, and driving infrastructure-as-code best practices across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for application and infrastructure deployment
- Build, manage, and scale Kubernetes clusters to support our microservices-based architecture
- Use Helm to manage and deploy Kubernetes applications
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, ensuring reproducible and version-controlled deployments
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to optimize the software delivery lifecycle
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
- Ensure infrastructure and application security, compliance, and performance
- Advocate for and implement DevOps best practices and culture across the organization
- Design and manage multiple Azure landing zones, ensuring alignment with security baselines
- Implement and maintain cloud security controls, including identity and access management
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- 5+ years of professional experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role
- Expert-level experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments
- Proficient with Helm for Kubernetes application packaging and deployment
- Solid experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation
- Deep understanding of CI/CD principles, GitOps, and automation
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, etc.)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor)
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple Azure landing zones with enterprise-scale governance and policies
- Strong knowledge of Azure security services (e.g., Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, RBAC, NSGs)
- Familiarity with frameworks such as CIS, NIST as applied in cloud environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-400, AZ-104, or AZ-305)
- Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and cloud governance
- Experience in regulated environments or with high-availability systems
