We are looking for a Nursery Room Leader at Starjumps Nursery working with an enthusiastic and friendly team in a setting with a recent ‘Good’ Ofsted report.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a specific age group within a small team.
- Open and close the nursery at the start and end of the day, maintaining staffing levels at all times.
- Line-manage staff members in the room.
- Contribute to and implement nursery policies and procedures, assisting the team in providing a friendly and caring environment.
- Act as a keyworker for children aged 6 months to 5 years.
- Plan and support the nursery team with group activities, including planning, providing and taking part in all activities.
- Work shift patterns between 8 am and 6 pm.
Qualifications:
- Level 3 Qualification in childcare (essential).
- Knowledge and experience of the EYFS.
- Full awareness of child protection procedures.
- Good knowledge of how to support children and their families with their needs.
- Be paediatric first-aid trained.
