Do you want to be part of a small team of residential childcare support workers that looks after young people with complex needs? We do not offer sponsorship at this time for the residential childcare support worker role. Previous experience in a residential childcare support worker role is desirable but not essential.

Working shift pattern of 3 on 3 off day shifts 7am - 7.30pm on a rolling rota basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Daily Activities: Assist young person with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Emotional Support: Build positive relationships with young person, providing emotional support and guidance to help them develop self-esteem and independence.
  • Supervision and Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of young person by supervising their activities and adhering to safeguarding policies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of young person's progress, incidents, and any significant changes in behaviour or health.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members, social workers, and families to create and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
