Panther Security Systems Ltd are a well-established company based in Colchester.
They have been trading for over 30 years and are NSI Gold accredited. Their geographical area is East Anglia, with some work in London. They are currently looking for two new Apprentice Security System Engineers to join their team.
What you will do in your working day
- The new apprentices will initially be working with an experienced engineer learning how to install, maintain and service CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarms.
- The successful applicant should be committed to developing new skills and gaining knowledge of the industry.
- In addition to regularly attending college, the Apprentice will learn customer service, health and safety, safely operating and maintaining all relevant handheld tools
- The ideal candidate will need the confidence to deal with clients in a professional manner, be reliable, adaptable, conscientious, and able to follow instructions.
The training you will be getting
- Skills for Security will deliver the Level 3 apprenticeship qualification in Fire emergency and Security Systems Technician.
- You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gathering any site evidence needed to supplement your studies. The closest training centre to this vacancy is in Watford.
- You will be required to complete an annual assessment at the training centre and take part in any additional training courses that the company require you to complete.

- To become a fully qualified Security Engineer with company vehicle and a valuable member of the team.
