We're looking for Senior Residential Childcare Workers who share that belief.
We're looking for a number of Seniors to help out at our existing homes in the Carlisle, Cumbria area with the potential of opening a new home in Carlisle itself in the near future. We're really excited about this new home and we will be installing sector lead clinical provision, with psychologists embedded within services offering both direct support to young people and reflective support to staff. That is rare in the sector. For the right senior, that's a serious development opportunity. This is not just another senior role. What we’re looking for:
- At least 2 years' experience in a residential care setting (young people or adults)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- The ability to stay calm and compassionate in challenging situations
- A full driving licence
- A relevant care qualification (NVQ 3), or the willingness to gain this
