Electronics QA Inspector
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an experienced QA Inspector / Electronics Test Technician to join their quality team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role involving inspection, testing, fault finding and quality assurance.
You will play a key role in ensuring electronic products meet customer specifications and the highest quality standards before dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect PCB assemblies and electronic products.
- Carry out functional testing of electronic assemblies and finished products.
- Diagnose faults to component level and complete repairs where required.
- Investigate returned products and identify root causes of failures.
- Identify, report and help resolve quality issues and non-conformances.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process control activities.
- Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate inspection, test and quality documentation.
- Support the company's ISO 9001 Quality Management System, including internal audits.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to ensure customer requirements are consistently achieved.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have
- Experience inspecting and testing electronic products.
- A good understanding of SMT and PCB assembly processes..
- The ability to fault find to component level.
- Experience repairing and reworking electronic assemblies.
- A strong understanding of quality control within electronics manufacturing.
- Experience working within an ISO 9001 environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
