Inspire Resourcing Ltd are seeking an experienced Site Installation Manager to join a specialist engineering and fabrication business operating across complex, multidisciplinary installations. The role sits within a Site Services / Installation function responsible for delivering mechanical, electrical and hydraulic installation works across a diverse portfolio of engineering projects, including hoisting and winching systems, mechanical handling equipment and specialist fabricated structures.
The Role
As Site Installation Manager, you will take full responsibility for the planning, coordination and delivery of site installation activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and in line with contractual and commercial requirements. You will have extensive experience managing site installations involving multiple mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components and overseeing both subcontractors and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall site management of complex installation projects
- Contract coordination and liaison with clients and project stakeholders
- Planning and supervising mechanical, electrical and hydraulic installation activities
- Managing site programmes, resources and sequencing of works
- Ensuring compliance with all health & safety legislation, including CDM regulations
- Acting as Planning Supervisor / CDM Coordinator where required
- Preparing and managing:
- Site programmes (Microsoft Project)
- Risk assessments
- Method statements
Skills & Experience Required
- Significant experience working in site installation management roles
- Strong background in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic plant installation
- Proven working experience with NEC contracts
- Fully conversant with:
- Health & Safety at Work Act
- CDM Regulations
Qualifications & Experience
- HND / HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
- Experience in site-based engineering or installation environments
- Career Level: Manager / Supervisor of staff
