Inspire Resourcing Ltd are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor (mechanical engineering) for their client in the Yorkshire region. Working within the commercial department providing cost and revenue management on major contracts. You will communicate with all relevant members of the project team. The role requires you to support the Commercial Manager in maximising the financial strength of the business and customer satisfaction whilst minimising any potential risks to the company. Undertake additional duties as required.
Job Responsibilities / Key Accountabilities
- Contract administration ensuring all contracts are administered correctly in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify, mitigate and manage risk and opportunities. Escalate where appropriate.
- Monitoring and driving the progress of Compensation Events, prepared by the Technical department, to agreement by liaison with the client's representatives.
- Identify, notify and report financial concerns and areas where action is required to the project management team.
- Involve and obtain information from project key personnel in preparation of CVR reporting with the Commercial Manager.
- Prepare template CVR for each project where required.
- Monitor and record site progress from information provided by the Project Manager.
- Collate the allocation of project manpower and productivity for submission to the client for applications.
