You will manage the entire electronics development process—from early research and concept generation through to design, prototyping, testing, compliance, and release to market. The role also involves working with local and overseas manufacturing partners, maintaining technical documentation, and providing clear internal technical support. You will also support existing product lines and contribute ideas for new ranges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead new electronic product design from concept to delivery.
- Create specifications, schematics, PCBs, and embedded firmware.
- Manage multiple development projects and support production partners.
- Ensure products meet compliance requirements and maintain technical data.
- Provide clear technical support to internal teams and customers.
- Support legacy product maintenance and future product planning.
Essential Skills:
- Strong experience with STM32 and ESP32 microcontrollers.
- Proficient in embedded C firmware development.
- Skilled in PCB and schematic design, ideally using Altium Designer.
- Solid understanding of SPI, UART, I2C communication protocols.
- Confident using test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Mechanical design experience (ideally SolidWorks) for enclosures and fixtures.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, DFM principles and EMC considerations.
- Strong problem-solving ability, good communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with injection-moulded or vacuum-formed components.
- Python development for Raspberry Pi.
- High-power LED or constant-current circuit design.
- Experience with Zigbee or other RF modules.
