Inspire Resourcing are recruiting for a Quality Officer to join our client based in Chesterfield. This is a hands-on quality role within a busy manufacturing environment, focused on ensuring that purchased goods and components meet the required quality standards.
You will be responsible for:
- Inspecting purchased goods, components and materials to ensure they meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Identifying, recording and reporting any quality issues, defects or non-conformances.
- Producing clear and accurate quality reports and associated documentation.
- Investigating quality issues and helping establish root causes and appropriate corrective actions.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding quality issues, specifications, documentation and corrective actions.
- Supporting internal teams with quality-related queries and providing technical information where required.
- Reviewing supplier documentation, questionnaires and quality information.
- Maintaining accurate quality records and ensuring documentation is completed correctly.
- Carrying out gap assessments against relevant quality standards and procedures.
- Supporting the development and improvement of quality processes.
