The Electrical/Utility/Site Services Engineer will play a key role in maintaining and improving site-wide electrical and utility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. The role involves a blend of planned maintenance, reactive support, system monitoring, and technical problem-solving within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with PLC control systems, including monitoring, basic programming adjustments, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain and optimise equipment across site.
- Conduct electrical fault finding and diagnostics to minimise downtime.
- Monitor, maintain, and control site utility systems such as fire sprinkler systems.
- Ensure all utilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with site standards.
- Carry out routine planned maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and support rapid resolution.
- Produce basic maintenance reports and update records accurately.
- Maintain clear and accurate logs of maintenance activities.
