A well-established training provider is seeking a Commercial Tutor in Electrical Installation to deliver high-quality commercial electrical training and oversee apprenticeship quality assurance. This varied role combines the delivery of commercial electrical courses with responsibility for the internal quality assurance of Level 3 Electrical Installation apprenticeship programmes. The position offers a blend of home-based quality assurance work, centre-based training delivery, and occasional site visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver commercial electrical training courses to industry professionals.
- Carry out Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) activities in line with awarding body requirements.
- Conduct sampling, standardisation activities, and quality reviews.
- Support and mentor assessors and workplace tutors.
- Participate in and lead standardisation meetings.
- Assist with preparation for External Quality Assurance (EQA) visits.
- Ensure compliance with awarding organisation and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation using e-portfolio systems.
- Provide learner support and guidance where required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employers and industry partners.
- Support business development.
