Inspire Resourcing are recruiting a H&S Officer on behalf of our client based in Derbyshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Health & Safety Professional to join a fantastic business.

Duties:

  • With the aid of the H&S Manager, the successful candidate will ensure all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to.
  • Alongside the H&S Manager, they will also work closely with the Site Manager and Operations team to achieve site action plans.
  • Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators against targets and advise the site team of appropriate/necessary actions required.
  • Liaise with the Site Management team in the implementation of sites environmental and safety management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001 etc).
  • Implement company policy at all times, i.e. compliance with regulations and permits.
  • Offer guidance and support to the Site Manager and Operations Team.
  • Attend Monthly H&S meetings with the Site to gain knowledge of current issues affecting the production environment.
  • Lead H&S meetings.
  • Support the H&S Manager with all aspects of the role.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH National General certificate – essential.
  • NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards) – desirable.
  • Any environmental qualifications – desirable.
  • IOSH Working Safely – desirable.
  • National Compliance and Risk Qualifications – desirable.
