Inspire Resourcing Ltd are seeking a demonstrable and motivated Electronics Design Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong PCB design experience who enjoys taking ownership of projects from concept through to production.

The successful candidate will have experience designing low-voltage electronic systems and multi-layer PCBs, with a strong understanding of EMC compliance and electronic product development. You will work across a diverse range of products, supporting both new developments and enhancements to existing designs while collaborating closely with testing and validation teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop low-voltage electronic systems and PCB layouts.
  • Ensure designs comply with EMC, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Support new product development projects from concept through to manufacture.
  • Improve and maintain existing electronic products and systems.
  • Work closely with testing and validation teams to ensure product performance, reliability, and compliance.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to a Test Engineer, supporting skills development within the team.
  • Manage multiple design projects, taking ownership and delivering solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, schematics, BOMs, and design records.
  • Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience in electronics design and PCB layout.
  • Strong PCB design capability, including experience with PCB boards.
  • Good understanding of EMC design principles and compliance requirements.
  • Experience designing low-voltage electronic systems.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed engineering decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers or technicians.
Desirable Skills
  • Familiarity with product testing, validation, and manufacturing support.
  • Experience working across diverse product portfolios.
  • Knowledge of relevant electronic design standards and regulations.
  • Understanding of analogue and digital circuit design principles.
