Inspire Resourcing Ltd are seeking a demonstrable and motivated Electronics Design Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong PCB design experience who enjoys taking ownership of projects from concept through to production.
The successful candidate will have experience designing low-voltage electronic systems and multi-layer PCBs, with a strong understanding of EMC compliance and electronic product development. You will work across a diverse range of products, supporting both new developments and enhancements to existing designs while collaborating closely with testing and validation teams.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop low-voltage electronic systems and PCB layouts.
- Ensure designs comply with EMC, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Support new product development projects from concept through to manufacture.
- Improve and maintain existing electronic products and systems.
- Work closely with testing and validation teams to ensure product performance, reliability, and compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to a Test Engineer, supporting skills development within the team.
- Manage multiple design projects, taking ownership and delivering solutions with minimal supervision.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, schematics, BOMs, and design records.
- Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
- Proven experience in electronics design and PCB layout.
- Strong PCB design capability, including experience with PCB boards.
- Good understanding of EMC design principles and compliance requirements.
- Experience designing low-voltage electronic systems.
- Ability to work independently and make informed engineering decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers or technicians.
- Familiarity with product testing, validation, and manufacturing support.
- Experience working across diverse product portfolios.
- Knowledge of relevant electronic design standards and regulations.
