We are recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join a busy and established business. This is a varied administrative role supporting the sales team and ensuring customers receive a professional and efficient service from enquiry through to order. The successful candidate will be highly organised, confident communicating with customers and colleagues and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking incoming orders via phone and email
- Responding to customer enquiries
- Processing customer enquiries and sales orders accurately
- Preparing quotations and sales documentation
- Updating and maintaining customer records and CRM systems
- Liaising with customers regarding orders, deliveries and queries
- Monitoring order progress and keeping customers updated
- Preparing invoices and supporting the wider sales administration process
- Liaising with internal departments including sales, finance and stores
- Following up quotations and customer enquiries
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly
- Supporting the sales team with general administration and coordination
About You
- Previous experience in a Sales Administrator, Sales Coordinator, Customer Service Administrator or similar role
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicating with customers and colleagues
- Professional and personable telephone manner
