We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Red Hat Linux Engineer to join a dynamic team. This role involves providing round-the-clock onsite support to ensure the stability, security, and performance of our Linux-based systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. Key Responsibilities:- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat Linux systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Perform system installations, configurations, and upgrades, adhering to best practices.
- Respond promptly to incidents, resolving issues within defined SLAs.
- Implement and manage system security measures, including patch management and vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and deployments.
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Participate in a rotating shift schedule of 2 days, 2 nights, followed by 4 days off to provide 24x7 support, including weekends and holidays.
- Proven experience as a Linux Engineer, with expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Red Hat certifications (e.g., RHCSA, RHCE) are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Linux system administration, networking, and security.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
