Join a global IT services and consulting leader as a Platform Engineering Lead to play a pivotal role in delivering transformative technology within one of the UK's most respected banking groups – Lloyds Banking Group (LBG). This is your opportunity to shape the future of modern banking technology through leadership, innovation, and cutting-edge engineering practices. Salary up to £100k plus bonus with offices in London, Leeds and Edinburgh and potential for hybrid working.
In this role you will be at the heart of technology strategy, mentoring high-performing engineering teams focused on delivering modern, cloud-native applications across LBG’s digital platforms. You will drive technical leadership, enabling DevSecOps culture and contribute to delivery of governance aligning to the bank's QBR, big room planning and agile events.
- Exposure to JavaScript framework with API/Microservices background
- Cloud-Native App Development
- Experience/expertise to monitor/measure/improve engineering maturity amongst the feature teams
- Engineering Leadership to drive engineering culture among the team
- Experience in driving engineering in “product based” organisation and agile mindset
- Experience in driving DevSecOps and Automation culture among the engineering team
- Tech Debt and Risk management
