Join our team as a Victim Liaison Officer, where you will be part of a dedicated team working to reduce harm, promote safety, and contribute to positive long-term change for individuals and families. You’ll play a key role in supporting the safety and wellbeing of partners and ex-partners of individuals attending the Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programme across North Yorkshire and the City of York. Working with people of all genders who may have been affected by domestic abuse, you will ensure they are heard, informed, and supported throughout the perpetrator’s engagement with the programme. This is a highly impactful role that requires empathy and strong communication skills.
What We’re Looking For:
- A commitment to supporting individuals affected by domestic abuse.
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Experience of liaising with social workers and other professionals from a range of statutory and voluntary organisations.
- A valid UK driving licence (or one permitting driving in the UK) and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
