Join Our Team as a Housing Support Assistant!
Could you help a young person build a brighter future?
As a Housing Support Assistant within our Scarborough team, you'll play a key role in supporting young people aged 18-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to develop the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to achieve and sustain independent living.
Working across our dispersed accommodation, you'll build positive relationships with young people, providing practical, person-centred support and helping them access education, employment, training, and opportunities within their communities. You'll work alongside Housing Support Workers to deliver support plans, promote independence, and ensure young people are safe, supported, and empowered to achieve their goals.
From helping someone settle into their new home to delivering life-skills activities and supporting them to attend important appointments, no two days are the same.
If you're passionate about helping young people thrive and want to make a genuine difference every day, we'd love to hear from you.

- Passionate about supporting vulnerable and socially excluded young people.
- Flexible and adaptable in approach to work.
- Experience of working with, or a good understanding of, vulnerable young people.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
