At Inspire North, our People Team plays a huge part in making sure colleagues feel valued, informed and cared for so they can do their best work supporting communities across the North. We’re now looking for a People Assistant to join us and help deliver a warm, effective and values‑led employee experience. This is a varied, hands‑on role where no two days are quite the same. You’ll be at the heart of our People operations, keeping things organised, responding to questions, supporting managers and employees, and making sure our processes are smooth, compliant and genuinely human.
Responsibilities
- Keep People operations running smoothly, providing friendly, reliable support to colleagues, managers and candidates.
- Lead on recruitment administration and onboarding.
- Manage People systems and records.
- Respond to day‑to‑day queries with care and professionalism.
- Support People initiatives and improvements that make working here feel simple, supportive and genuinely human.
Qualifications
- Have experience in an administrative or People/HR support role (or transferable experience you’re keen to build on).
- Be highly organised, detail‑focused and comfortable juggling priorities.
- Communicate clearly and kindly, whether by email, phone or face to face.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion, professionalism and care.
- Can work confidently with systems, data and digital tools.
