Join Inspire North as a Housing Support Worker!
Could you help a young person build a brighter future?
As a Support Worker within our OWL service, you'll support young people aged 16-25, including care leavers and unaccompanied asylum seekers, who may be homeless or at risk of homelessness.
You'll work alongside young people to build confidence, develop independent living skills, and help them move towards sustaining their own tenancy. Through person-centred support, you'll empower young people to overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and create positive futures.
No two days are the same. From supporting someone to manage their home and finances, to helping them access education, training, employment and community opportunities, you'll make a real difference every day.
If you're passionate about helping young people thrive, we'd love to hear from you.
Who we're looking for:
- Passionate about supporting young people and promoting their wellbeing.
- Able to build positive, trusting relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Resilient, empathetic and adaptable in your approach.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Experience of working with vulnerable young people, or a good understanding of the challenges they face.
