We are currently recruiting for a full‑time Chef for our Worcester service. This role is 40 hours per week and requires working every other Sunday and Monday, so a level of flexibility is required. Join us and become part of an organisation where your contributions truly make a difference.

Your Role In Action:
- Support the Head Chef in planning and provision of high‑quality meals that meet the nutritional and dietary requirements of our residents.
- Plan, prepare, and serve balanced meals that meet dietary requirements.
- Cater to individual preferences and specific medical needs, such as allergies or soft diets.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with the Care team to ensure mealtimes are enjoyable and fulfilling.
- Contribute to special events, themed days, and celebrations within the service.
- Deputise for the Head Chef during periods of absence.
Your Skills And Strengths:
- Previous experience as a Chef, ideally within a care, healthcare or rehabilitation setting.
- Proven knowledge of specialist dietary needs including modified food textures and allergies.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene desirable).
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery/Food Preparation or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety COSHH regulations.
- Compassionate approach with a genuine interest in supporting residents’ health and wellbeing through food.
- Team player capable of working collaboratively with Therapy, Care and Nursing teams at all times.
