We have an exciting opportunity available to join our team of Playworkers providing care and activities to school age children aged 4-11 years.
As a Playworker you will:
- consult with the children and involve them in planning of activities.interact with children and engage in meaningful indoor and outdoor play experiences and yet supervise them.
- establish positive and sensitive relationships with children. To act as a role model and set achievable expectations.
- maintain positive relationships with parents /carers, informing them about the Club, exchanging information about the children and encouraging parents involvement.
- Provide a healthy and safe environment at all times for all children in the Club; reporting any concerns with regards to the premise, outdoor area or equipment to the Club Leader and/or Area Manager.
You will need to be: passionate about outdoor learning and physical developement, a child magnet, as well as; skilled at teaching young children, know when to ask questions and when to listen, patient, reliable, flexible, friendly, motivated, enthusiastic and hard working.
The role is part-time: before & after school and during school holidays.
