We are in search of qualified educators/practitioners to join our team.
With a high number of 1, 2 & 3-year-olds currently seeking placement at our Nursery, we are continuing our search for dedicated individuals to start with us.
Salary: Dependent on qualification and experience but above NMW/NLW
Our nurseries have a good reputation, and we aim to maintain the high standards for which we were accredited, receiving a \’good\’ rating in all areas during our last inspections.
You will demonstrate a mature attitude, focused on delivering excellent standards, with a natural ability to work as part of a team.
We provide onboarding training including:
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Paediatric First Aid Certificate
We are looking for someone responsible, flexible, and proactive.
You should have a warm, friendly demeanor that makes every child feel special. A sense of humor, including the ability to laugh at jokes you don\’t understand, is appreciated. Quirkiness is welcome—if a child asks you to be a pirate captain, you\’ll be the best pirate you can be!
You must be comfortable sharing personal routines openly, such as going to the toilet, and able to sing in tune or out of tune in front of others. Distributing warm hugs, counting children quickly, and handling bodily functions conversations are essential skills.
Comfort in public settings with children, a good sense of smell, and the ability to engage in imaginative play—like eating pretend food or reading stories with interruptions—are required.
Most importantly, you should be prepared to have fun, laugh often, and make children and their families feel loved, special, and valued.
We operate in the LE3 & LE4 areas of Leicester. Our setting is small, homely, but very busy.
