With a high number of 1, 2 & 3-year-olds currently seeking places at our Nursery, we are continuing our search for dedicated individuals to start with us.

Salary: Dependent on qualification and experience but above NMW/NLW

Our nurseries have good reputations, and we aim to maintain the high standards for which we received a \’good\’ rating in all areas during our last inspections.

You will be someone who demonstrates a mature attitude, focused on delivering excellent standards, with a natural ability to work as part of a team.

We will provide onboarding training, including:

  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Paediatric First Aid Certificate

We are looking for someone responsible, flexible, and able to use their initiative.

You should have a warm, smiling face that makes every child feel special. A good sense of humor, even at jokes you don\’t understand or find funny, is appreciated. A touch of quirkiness is welcome—if a child asks you to be a pirate captain, you\’ll be the best pirate captain you can be!

You must be comfortable announcing bathroom breaks, singing (in tune not required, but willing to sing out of tune in front of others), and giving warm hugs as needed.

Skills required include quickly counting children, handling situations with unknown substances on clothing, and discussing bodily functions comfortably. A good sense of smell is important for responding to bodily functions.

You should enjoy engaging in imaginative play, such as pretending to eat playdough or drinking pretend tea, and be able to read fairy tales with interruptions.

Most importantly, you must be prepared to have lots of fun, laugh often, and feel loved, special, and important to our children and their families.

We have two settings in the LE3 & LE4 areas of Leicester. We are small, homely, but very busy.
