We are seeking a skilled and experienced full-time Senior Conveyancer to join our team on-site at our Scarborough office. The Senior Conveyancer will manage a varied caseload of residential and commercial property transactions from inception to completion. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting title reviews
- Drafting and reviewing contracts
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, and other solicitors
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Providing excellent client service
- Offering clear and practical advice
- Mentoring junior members of the team when required
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in residential and commercial property conveyancing processes, including title review, contract drafting, and property transactions
- Proficient client communication skills with the ability to provide clear, practical, and tailored legal advice
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills to manage a varied caseload effectively and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of legal compliance and regulatory requirements related to property transactions
- Experience in using legal technology and digital tools to streamline work processes is highly desirable
- Previous experience mentoring and guiding junior professionals is a plus
- Qualification as a Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor, or Legal Executive with a strong background in property law is required
