About the role:
- The Trust Sports Centre Assistant role is based between Thomas Rotherham College and Oakwood High School,Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
- Working hours Minimum of 12 hours per week across 3 days, all year, 12-month fixed term contract (withpotential to become permanent)

Key duties:
The successful Trust Sports Centre Assistant will:
- Assist in day-to-day operation of the Sports Centre, and it's associated facilities and services.
- Act as Duty Officer, including locking and unlocking buildings.
- Ensure high standards of equipment maintenance and cleanliness and instruct participants on safety and basic principles of gym equipment.
- Assist in recruitment of gym memberships and promotional activities for Inspire Sports.
About you:
The successful Trust Sports Centre Assistantshould have:
- Evidence of excellent customer care skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication style.
- Level 2 qualification in Gym Instructing or Sports Coaching (desirable).
- Awareness and understanding of key and current health and fitness issues (desirable).
