About the role:
The Cover Supervisor role is based at Winterhill School, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, S61 2BD.
Working hours 32.5 hours per week, 192 days per year (Term time plus 2 training days).

Key duties:
The successful Cover Supervisor will:
Provide effective cover supervision to students within the classroom, which enables their continued learning in the absence of teaching staff.
Provide support around the school where necessary, including in-class support, delivering interventions, whole school duties, organisational support to enable effective teaching across the school.
Establish productive working relationships with students, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
Monitor and evaluate students' behaviour, using the agreed reporting process.
About you:
The successful Cover Supervisor should have:
Experience of working in classroom settings and suitability to manage pupils and support the learning process.
GCSE A*-C in Mathematics, English and Science or equivalent.
A degree in a relevant subject.
Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
