About Inspire Healthcare
We are a community‑based organisation and we currently provide mobile services across Melbourne and Sydney. We provide services to participants under the NDIS.
Inspire Healthcare is offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified and passionate Speech Pathologist to join our team on a contractor basis. We also run a training program (Graduate Friendly) that will assist you on your career growth and provide you with all the tools necessary for success in your role.
You will be responsible for the delivery of therapeutic interventions for people with disability as well as the elderly.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of speech therapy services based on current evidence‑based practice and within the resources and hours presented within participants’ individual plan
- Completing high‑quality NDIS assessments and intervention services (including speech, language, dysphagia, AAC, aphasia, and fluency)
- Working with individuals (children and adults) in a person‑centred approach to build capacity and achieve NDIS goals
- Providing services across different environments including homes, schools, community programs, workplaces and/or ORS offices
- Managing a busy caseload, including maintaining documentation and communication with the team
About You
To be successful in this role you will be a driven and energetic professional with strong verbal and written communication skills, and be able to demonstrate your skills and experience as a Speech Pathologist in a multidisciplinary team. You will be a motivated, passionate professional, who thrives on supporting people with disabilities and their families in our local community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification
- Current AHPRA Registration or SPA
- Experience with NDIS (preferred but not necessary)
- Strong organisational skills
- Current VIC Driver’s Licence and have access to own transport
- Current VIC Working with Children Check
- Police Check
