Role Overview
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with autism and complex needs to reach their full potential academically, socially, and personally. You will work closely with teachers and the wider team to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with autism and complex needs.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.
- Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and promoting a positive learning experience.
- Encourage students' independence, confidence, and personal development.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and well-organised classroom environment.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant or supporting individuals with autism/complex needs is desirable - or simply a genuine passion to make a difference.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and resilience to support students effectively.

- Must be commutable to Leatherhead, Surrey.
