The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Support students with SEMH, SEN and additional barriers to learning.
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching approaches to maximise outcomes.
- Promote positive behaviour through effective classroom management.
- Contribute to students' emotional wellbeing and personal development.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, carers and external professionals.
- Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and professional practice.
We're Looking For
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or are working towards it.
- Have experience within SEN, SEMH, alternative provision or secondary education.
- Can build strong, positive relationships with young people.
- Have excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
- Are passionate about inclusive education and supporting students to achieve their potential.
- Remain calm, flexible and resilient in a dynamic learning environment.
