The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Support students with SEMH, SEN and additional barriers to learning.
  • Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching approaches to maximise outcomes.
  • Promote positive behaviour through effective classroom management.
  • Contribute to students' emotional wellbeing and personal development.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, carers and external professionals.
  • Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and professional practice.

We're Looking For

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or are working towards it.
  • Have experience within SEN, SEMH, alternative provision or secondary education.
  • Can build strong, positive relationships with young people.
  • Have excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Are passionate about inclusive education and supporting students to achieve their potential.
  • Remain calm, flexible and resilient in a dynamic learning environment.
