This Outstanding SEN school caters for children and young people with moderate learning difficulties (MLD) and a range of additional needs including:
- Autism (ASC)
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
All students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), ensuring tailored support and structured learning pathways.

This specialist provision supports boys and girls from Year 3 to Year 11, including term-time residential facilities. The school is committed to delivering high-quality SEN education while promoting independence, confidence, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver adapted and engaging lessons for students with SEN and complex needs
- Monitor and assess student progress in line with EHCP targets
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies
- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents
- Follow Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and tailored support strategies
- Contribute to the school’s inclusive ethos and development
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working within SEN, SEND or specialist education settings
